Module load failing

I can use the
Code:
"module load xyz

" command interactively, but when run from a script, it says it can't find the "module" command. Is there any way of loading modules in a script?

Do you want your module being available outside the script? Then you will need to source the script in your command shell:
Code:
. scriptname

If it is only needed inside the script, source the module initialization at the start of the script:
Code:
. /etc/profile.d/modules.sh

(or wherever the initialization code is located on your system, try looking through /etc/profile for a hint)

module is certainly a function or an alias.
Check with type module
(csh: which module)
You need to redefine it in the script.
Or directly use what module expands to.
