'grep' command
Hi guys,
I need some help with 'grep' command.

I am trying to grep number 207 from the file which has other numbers which include 207 as a part of it.
for example 1
Code:
1207 20723123 23207434 ABC207222TTT

Is there a way to make 'grep' to produce an output only for the number 207.
It can alpha characters before and after, like ox207 ox207b etc...

The only problem is that my shell does not support '-E' option Smilie

Are you using Solaris? Try /usr/xpg4/bin/grep instead of grep (or try egrep instead of grep -E)
