Shell Programming and Scripting

Hi Gurus,

Need some help with the shell scripting here.

Code:

#!/bin/ksh

ps -ef | grep -i sample.ksh | grep -v grep > abc.txt

if [ -s abc.txt ]

then

echo "sample.ksh is executing"

else 

echo "sample.ksh is not executing"

fi

Now my requirement is, i have multiple scripts that runs at different timings. Say sample.ksh @ 2100, myscript.ksh @2200, shellscript.ksh @ 0300, etc

How do i give these scripts as arguments at that particular timings when they execute to the script that i had shown above?

Like @2100, the script must have ps -ef | grep -i sample.ksh | grep -v grep > abc.txt, @2200 - ps -ef | grep -i myscript.ksh | grep -v grep > abc.txt.....

Any help is much appreciated.

You need to give call to main script as many times as you have (sample.ksh, myscript.ksh, shellscript.ksh) scripts through using cornjob like below

* 21 * * * /path/to/main_script.sh sample.ksh 
* 22 * * * /path/to/main_script.sh myscript.ksh
* 23 * * * /path/to/main_script.sh shellscript.ksh

and main script will look like something below

ps -ef | grep -i $1 | grep -v grep > abc.txt
