Verified this code and it provided the expected output for the given input
Code:
awk -F "," 'NR == FNR{split($2, a, "\)|\("); d[NR] = a[1]; l[NR] = a[2]; n[NR] = ($3 == "NOT NULL") ? 1 : 0; next}
  {for(i = 1; i <= NF; i++)
    {if(((d[i] == "Numeric" && (($i + 0) == $i || $i == "")) || d[i] == "String") && (length($i) <= l[i]) && (length($i) >= n[i]))
	  {f = 1} else {f = 0};
	if(f == 0) {print $0 > "badrec"; next}} print $0 > "goodrec"}' cf.txt df.txt

Hi,
Thank you so much.Its working now and able to get the proper output now.
I have one more thing to ask. in the below code we are using split function:
Code:
split($2, a, "-")

But why we are giving "-" as a delimiter ? Can u please explain the code.

Thanks,
Shree

You had issues splitting the data type field in schema file using the delimited '(' or ')' (issue depends on unix flavor).
Hence, I have converted the braces to '-'
now, your schema file datatype firld becomes as below
Code:
state,String-10-,NOT NULL

and I am splitting that with '-' so that I can seperate type and length
