cat behavior when passing http prams as arg
Hello all
im newbie in unix , as my experiences i passed to the cat utility http prams as args i got :
cat http://localhost:8000/test.php?
szAddress=&szNationalId=&szFirstName=&szLastName=&undefined=undefined&iTargetModule=0&bFullScreen=

and the result is :
[1] 2540
[2] 3016
[3] 2356
[4] 2552
[5] 2692
[6] 1204
[1] Done szAddress=
[2] Done szNationalId=
[3] Done szFirstName=
[4] Done szLastName=
[5] Done undefined=undefined


and this is great this is exactly what I wanted to get to see the name and value of my submit, and I got it by mistake .....
any way now I like to pass this result to text file .
cat > foo.txtx

cat http://localhost:8000/test.php?
szAddress=&szNationalId=&szFirstName=&szLastName=&undefined=undefined&iTargetModule=0&bFullScreen=

ctr - d

don't give me the same results ( name = value ) as it was when I passed it to the cat .
how can I do the same result ?

cat in the command line doesn't match cat in the script

NAME

       gnomevfs-cat - print a file to standard output using the VFS system

SYNOPSIS

       gnomevfs-cat URI

DESCRIPTION

       gnomevfs-cat prints a file to standard output using the virtual file system to access the file via a URI.

OPERANDS

       The following operands are supported:

       URI	       Specifies the file location in standard URI format.

EXAMPLES

       Example 1: Cat a File From a Web Server

       example% gnomevfs-cat http://www.sun.com

       Example 2: Cat a Local File

       example% gnomevfs-cat file:///home/user/README.txt

ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES

       See environ(5) for descriptions of the following environment variables: NLSPATH.

EXIT STATUS

       The exit value 0 is returned regardless of success or failure.
