[Solved] Replacing line of text while file is closed

Is it possible to replace a line of text within a file while it's closed with a single command or a script? Please show me an example or point me to a webpage that shows an example. The file has this line of text:

LoginGraceTime 100

I want to replace it with the following:

LoginGraceTime 0

I want a script to complete this action, I can hardcode the filename, the line that should be replaced and the text that I want to replace it with.

Thank you in advance.

Not sure what you mean by file is closed. You can update file using sed from the command line liks this:

Code:
sed -r --in-place 's/LoginGraceTime\s+100/LoginGraceTime 0/' /etc/ssh/sshd_config

By "file is closed", I meant that I didn't want to be viewing the contents of the file in an editor like vi. Your command is exactly what I was looking for, Thank you.
