Try:-

and

["A-Z"])

EDIT:
My error only works for a or z or A or Z...

It works longhand:-

[abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz])

and

[ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ])

From a cygwin session:-
