Expect script not working in crontab with minicom
Hi All,
I am testing expect script in command prompt without issue, but in crontab it is not working, i check the output error as below:

Code:
#cat /var/log/testexp.log
spawn minicom -C /var/log/minicom1.log
No cursor motion capability (cm)
AT+COPS=?

I am new in scripting, together with this post I attached my script as below. Anyone who know issue can inform me how to make it work in crontab ?

my expect script as below:

set timeout 75 
spawn minicom -C /var/log/minicom.log 
sleep 15 
send "AT+COPS=? \r"
sleep 5
expect " +COPS: "
exit

Looks like mincom requires a terminal.

Perhaps you could write a shell script that sets TERM and then calls your script and run this from crontab

export TERM
/home/elingtey/testexp

Expect script doesn't work under crontab
