Code Download multiple files uing wget
Need Assistance . Using wget how can i download multiple files from http site. Http doesnt has wild card (*) but FTP has it . Any ideas will be appreciative.

Code:
wget --timeout=120 --append-output=output.txt --no-directories --cut-dirs=1 -np -m --accept=grib2 -r http://sample.com/ --directory-prefix=<path>

Above command gets only index.html but does not download the files .

That's the --recursive flag.

wget --recursive --level=1 ...

Corona688: I already have -r option in that commands anything else am i missing here.


I also tried with --level=1 but still no use.

wget respects robots.txt, if it says batch downloading is prohibited then it will not do so.

Thanks for letting me know Corona688. At this point it only downloads index.html and robots.txt
