While loop with sed command

Hi Expert,

I am working on one script which needs to read the input from the file and replace the words using sed command. For each line in the input file It should create one file. Below is the code. I can see the for loop is working fine but instead of three files it is creating one file

Input File

Code:

localhost:7222
localhost1:7223
localhost2:7224

Shell script

Code:

HSFILE=/home/User/Temp/Input.txt
IFS=":";
while read line;
do line=($line);
echo "URL is "${line[0]}" Port is "${line[1]}"";
cat Monitor_Template.hrb | sed -e "s/URL/${line[0]}/g" | sed -e "s/port/${line[1]}/g" >> "NEWFile_$(date +%F-%T).hrb"

echo "Welcome"
done < $HSFILE

Is it something wrong with the SED command?

Code:
>> "NEWFile_$(date +%F-%T).hrb

why append?
I see in the file name ONE variable...
How long do your think it takes to execute your loop here with 3 records?
What happens if it takes less than a second?

You got it now?

Cheers

Code:
HSFILE=/home/User/Temp/Input.txt
num=1
while IFS=":" read url port
do
 echo "URL is $url Port is $port"
 < Monitor_Template.hrb sed -e "s/URL/$url/g" -e "s/port/$port/g" > "NEWFile_$num.hrb"
 num=$(($num+1))
 echo "Welcome"
done < $HSFILE

Using "$num" is better than using $(date) plus a sleep command.
