Sqlplus with shell_exec(); PHP command

On more desperate days, you can provide the daemon process your interactive env:

set | sed 's/^[a-zA-Z0-9_]*=/export &/' >final_env

and dot final_env in the same shell before trying to run sqlplus, probably in a subshell to be safe!

bash -c 'cd /your_home ; . final_env ; sqlplus . . . . '

Just add the following in your script (myscript.sh):

ORACLE_HOME=<value from the working env>
export ORACLE_HOME
"$ORACLE_HOME"/bin/sqlplus ...<rest of your commands>

Need help with ksh script that uses sqlplus, called from PHP

I have a ksh script that connects to sqlplus and dumps the query results into a file. The script works file when I run it from the command line, however, when I call it from PHP using system(), exec(), or shell_exec() commands, the script doesn't seem to run the query.
