FTP - Large file
Hi ,
I don't know whether it has been answered.. but I searched, couldn't find out..
I am running an FTP automation shell script from AIX server to FTP a big file [ around 950 MB ]. Everything is working fine, but after transferring some 100 MB .. it gets stucked.
I am using Putty terminal to execute my script .. after some one hour it gets inactive also(if I am not typing anything).

Please help me

I don't think it's an FTP problem, per se. I would check for disk space, disk quotas, and some other things. When ftp times out it returns an error which is specified in the standard.

Time outs are caused by busy remote systems, network down problems, hardware issues, settings on the server, entwork traffic. Usually if you can connect and start, there isn't an ftp problem.
