MySQL wat is the command to view the cpu utilization ? nothing works !!!!
hi !

i m in AIX box.

i wanna chk the overall CPU utilization : in % .
wat command i can try ?

i m already done with Vmstat : giving some output
iostat : not working

hi ...

if you are the superuser .. check with command

>sar 3 3 (SAR should be installed)

there is one more command which will give full statistics of various thing .. but remember this is a dynamic command and keeps running till you cancel it using ctrl-C

MySQL
For solaris there is also something called top.
I am not sure if it works in AIX.

For AIX you can use vmstat
