Call one script option to other in shell script
HI Guys,

My Script abc.sh
Code:
1) Checks
2) CA Scipt
3) CIA Script
0) Exit
Enter Choice :

Now if i select choice 2 then after finshed choice 2 wait for 40 min and run choice 3


what i can write in CA Scipt option:

if [ $choice = "2" ]
then
		
	My Code :
	...
	...
	
	exit 0;
fi

Run sleep command:-
Code:
sleep 2400 # Sleep for 2400 seconds = 40 minutes

But I'm curious to know why you want to put a wait if you are writing a menu driven program!!

that i know but then after how can i run option 3 i dont want to quit from my script

Because i have to wait for 40 min after rune manu 3

If you don't want to terminate script execution, then you have to use an infinite loop:-
Code:
while (true)
do
   # 1. Menu
   # 2. Menu
   # 3. Menu
   # 4. Exit 
done

So the script will run until user select option 4. You can Google for examples of shell script menu driven programs.
