Please forgivrem i am new to scripting and DBs...im connected view sqlplus...and i used describe <tablename> command...

describe will only list the column definitions for specified table.

1. Check the DATA file which you passed to sqlldr utility and verify how many records were in it:-

wc -l FILE_TO_LOAD.dat

2. Count the number of records in table and see if it matches:-

select count(1) from <tablename>;

You can also select the columns to verify that the values are loaded properly.

hi guys please assist, my table is empty no data has been loaded....and im getting this error: sqlldr command not found
