Compare two tab-delimiter files

Hi,

I have two files like:

file1

Code:
chr1 40
chr1 50
chr2 10
chr2 60

file2

Code:
chr1 30
chr1 50
chr2 15
chr2 20

and want to get the difference of column 2 when column 1 is the same in both files.

So the output file would be:

Code:
chr1 10
chr1 0
chr2 -5
chr2 40

Could somebody help me? Thanks
