if i use this date it jus displays the date in output...but i want the execution of those statements at particular time...

This is your thread title..

I think you just need to verify is your hob has successfully started at 10AM or not...

That's why i have given you this solution..

So you can check at what time your script started..

Most ps commands will have the start time in a (selectable) column, e.g. linux as "stime" or Freebsd as "Started". This does not help you if it is a short lived process. If available, use the logger command to create a time stamped entry in the system logs.

Still you could use cron.
