List no. of files in a directory/sub dir's and also an consolidated report as required
Need help on below query asap. Thanks.

The below is the directory structure:
/home/suren
under /suren the following are the directories
/bin
/log
/error
/bin contains the following files
abc.txt
bcd.ksh
cde.sh
wer.ksh
ghi (file with out any extension)
/log contains the following files
applog/app1.log (applog is a sub directory in /log)
applog/app2.log
app3.log
app4 (file with out any extension)
/error contains nothing.
Files with extension:
2 File(s) with .ksh extension in /home/suren/bin
1 File(s) with .sh extension in /home/suren/bin
1 File(s) with .txt extension in /home/suren/bin
1 File(s) with .log extension in /home/suren/log
2 File(s) with .log extension in /home/suren/log/applog
Files without extension:
1 File(s) without extension in /home/suren/bin
1 File(s) without extension in /home/suren/log
Consolidated List:
5 File(s) in /home/suren/bin directory
2 File(s) in /home/suren/log directory
2 File(s) in /home/suren/log/applog directory
0 File(s) in /home/suren/error directory
