Expect command- need help
Hi All,

I need help in making my script run perfectly as expected.

This is a snippet from my script. I am trying to read the ";" from the below output using the expect command, but the command is not detecting it. Could you please help me correct the expect string?

Your issue here is that "^" matches only at the begining of the input buffer not the begining of any line. You should get a better result using "\n;" instead.

Thanks Chubler_XL for your input.

I tried "\n;" but it still didn't work.

However i tried with "\r\n;" and it worked!!
