setup cron job

HI I am new to unix .

I wanted to create a cron job that runs a script every 10 min .So when I enter

vi /etc/crontab

I get the following output

SHELL=/bin/bash
PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin
MAILTO=root
HOME=/
# run-parts
01 * * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.hourly
02 4 * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.daily
22 4 * * 0 root run-parts /etc/cron.weekly
42 4 1 * * root run-parts /etc/cron.monthly

and my script resides on the same server in the location /itf/ude/wes/prabhu

pls help me

No. You should use your own crontab, not /etc/crontab

Code:
crontab -e

will give you your own private crontab.

I run cron in solaris 10 zone. One cron job which syncing files to nfs mounted on container, creates after finishing another cron proccess(/usr/sbin/cron), and after 100 existing cron proccesses next cron job will not start.
