yes. This is new code
Code:
awk -F"|" '
BEGIN{i=1}
($7 ~ /Task started on a component/){	if(!f[$9])
						{	f[$9]=1;
							y=substr($9,1)"::"substr(f[$9],1);
							a[y]=$1;
							b[y]=$8;
							c[i]=y;
							i++
						}
					else
						{
							f[$9]=f[$9]+1;
							y=substr($9,1)"::"substr(f[$9],1);
							a[y]=$1;
							b[y]=$8;
							c[i]=y;
							i++
						}
				}
($7 ~ /Exchange processing completed|Task completed on a component/){if(f[$9])
									{
										y=substr($9,1)"::"substr(f[$9],1);
										d[y]=$1
									}
								}
END{for (j=1;j<i;j++){	if(a[c[j]]&&d[c[j]])
				{
					split(a[c[j]],s_tm," ");split(d[c[j]],e_tm," ");
					x=((substr(s_tm[2],1,2)*3600)+(substr(s_tm[2],4,2)*60)+substr(s_tm[2],7,2))*1000+substr(s_tm[2],10,3);
					y=((substr(e_tm[2],1,2)*3600)+(substr(e_tm[2],4,2)*60)+substr(e_tm[2],7,2))*1000+substr(e_tm[2],10,3);

Thanks It's working fine.

But had few queries regarding the changes
What is the else part for?
Code:
else
						{
							f[$9]=f[$9]+1;
							y=substr($9,1)"::"substr(f[$9],1);
							a[y]=$1;
							b[y]=$8;
							c[i]=y;
							i++
						}

and also
Code:
split(c[j],z,"::");

can you please explain them?

ELSE part i had included for the processes which are started more than once
and i am assigning the number to the processes 1,2,etc along with name.
with split i am removing that assigned number from the process name
