It looks like vgersh99 and I were responding at the same time.

You need to find out from whoever is creating your input whether multiple tabs are allowed as a field separator to line up output, or if (even though the data you have always has an empty 4th field) data could appear there in some cases. Based on what you find out, you will know whether you need to use:

awk -F'\t\t*' '{print $3,$4,$9}' OFS='\t' myFile
    or
awk -F'\t+' '{print $3,$4,$9}' OFS='\t' myFile

or

awk -F'\t' '{print $3,$5,$10}' OFS='\t' myFile
