Could you explain what that's supposed to do? Reverse engineering that could take a good while.

TEMPFILE is a list of files that i made from running a Find command.
INSECCOM is a variable i make at the beginning of the script, basically a list of all the r services, rsh, remsh, rlogin, rdist, rsync, etc.
For each of these commands grep through each file in TEMPFILE
Do a Count
Echo findings to a Logfile
Copy the file, where we found the command w/ dir structure to DESTDIR (working directory).

Then i Tar it up | gzip
Done

Thanks for the tips on the backticks. As you might have noticed, im not a sysadmin.
But for some reason I got pegged for this, so guess i have to figure it out as I go.

Copy the files in directory and sub folders as it is to another directory.

How to copy files from one directory to another directory with the subfolders copied. If i have folder1/sub1/sub2/* it needs to copy files to folder2/sub1/sub2/*. Base directory of the package

Hello, I have an RPM package for which I need to know the base directory /opt/appdir. But if the package is relocated, then it will be different. I need to get the value dynamically.
