Script working when run manually but not in crontab showing path not found
i have a script running using variable defined in .profile
when i run that script manually its working

but when i run the same script through cron its giving path not found

I had defined path in .profile

In the script that you are willing to run via crontab, you should add the line

Code:
. /your_relevant_path/.profile

or (if in csh)
Code:
source /your_relevant_path/.profile

So your script will force the load of the variables in the environment

By the way, I am 100% sure this kind of environment "issue" when using a cron has already been discussed many times, so you should also find a bunch of other thread talking about it by doing a simple search using accurate keywords.
