Hi All,

Please help me in below request.
Got multiple files in a dir ex: /os . from each file need to filter based upon first field (field only has 1,2,3 or 4) and then put it in different files based on the Field 1. But need to generate a sequence while inserting and the sequence number needs to be incremented if the fields 2 + 3 is once again entering into the same file.

ex

Data should be in File - F2

Code:

2 aaa bb x 1
2 xjk  as x 1
2 aaa bb y 2
2 aaa bc x 1

please post your all input files sample and desired output file sample. Its not clear from your given example. Whether first field is sequence no or its in header/file name? where?
