Sorry, I was being dumb. My mind was in a substitution!

Escape the /.

Code:
sed "/JND\/password/{N;s/admin/4dm1n/g;}" input.xml

HI,

Now I need one more help from you people.

Again I am facing a problem with the below issue,

<InstanceName>SBXVIL-Instanfile</InstanceName>
.
.
.
<Name>JDBC/Name</Name>
<value>SBXVIL01</value>

In the above code, I want to change InstanceName as SBXVIL to SBXVIL22. but if i am replacing that value, the JDBC/Name value also replacing as SBXVIL01 to SBXVIL2201.

In the above posts, I asked for replacing the value in the next concecutive line. but now I want to replace the value in the same line.

Please help me out from this.
