Hi

Thank you for your reply.I want to get the files deleted in a txt docuemnt ot mail.How do i trap them.

you can do this one to find and list out the older PDFs and then remove them ..
Code:
find ./ -name '*.pdf' -mtime +5  >> test1.out
[ -s test1.out ] && rm -f `< test1.out`

Thank you for your reply.What I was asking is as I need to mail the deleted documents how do i get them to use in mailx
