Bug help in egrep command in file

Hi Guys,

I need hepl on egrep commnad

I have one file and i need grep only specific lines..

EX:

I don't want any line which have "AL"

i want updated my grep command....

egrep -i '2012' *Hth*.log> /home/put/TKN_0012.txt

grep -v means everything except lines containing
