Shell Programming and Scripting

hi, i'm new to shell scripting.

I have a text file(sample.txt). It contains the different username & password for different users of oracle db.
.txt content
user1|password1
user2|password2
user3|password3
user4|password4

First read the text file and take the username and password then connect to oracle db and then export it.
Here there are 4 users. So connect to the 1st user and do the export, then for the 2nd and so on...

plz help me for the shell script..

you can go simple,no need to use loop... it will take time

 exp userid=username/passwd@dbname file=file_dump.txt log=file_dump.log

the requirement is: It read the text file and take the first username and password, connect to db then do the export. And this process will continue for all the users in that text file.

Hello, no need to connect db because while exporting the database just connect as like command prompt...
