There has been a change in the sample format. I tried modifying the solution many times which was posted but again i failed terribly.

Could you please help me again?

master file
# $1 $2 $3
Apple 0xc001 R
Grape 0xc002 G
Banana 0xc003 Y
Pear 0xc004 G

slave file
# $1 $2 $3
Write(0xc003, 8'h03); # $3 desired output = "//Banana"
Write(0xc001, 8'h07); # $4 "//Apple"
Write(0xc002, 8'h10); # $4 "//Grape"


$1 of slave is now tested for a match with $2 of master. Once matched, $1 of master is copied into $3 of slave.

An additional headache is that a double backslash is to be added to the string copied from master to the slave in $3.
