Hi,

I have following data in a file
Code:
5~6.14~S~N~N~0.~4565~134~6584

~6.13~H~N~N~0.~4578~0~6587
2~6.14~S~N~N~0.~4565~134~6584

~3.13~H~N~N~0.~4578~0~6587
-~6.14~S~N~N~0.~4565~134~6584

~7.13~H~N~N~0.~4578~0~6587

I want the output as

Code:
5~6.14~S~N~N~0.~4565~134~6584
~6.13~H~N~N~0.~4578~0~6587
2~6.14~S~N~N~0.~4565~134~6584
~3.13~H~N~N~0.~4578~0~6587

This should ignore all the blank lines as well as line with just white space
Code:
egrep -v '^[ \t]*$'

Cannot replace null with space
