Hi,,,

Through shell scripting, it is not an easy task to export to Excel file. Though one can do is that they can create one CSV file from the given data as mentioned in below script. After the csv file is created, transfer the same to Windows OS Machine. Now open MS Excel Application and from there, open the CSV File. This should give you all the properly parsed field seperated values in Excel. Then you can Save the same in XLS format or any other format available in the Save As Options.

I need this csv file to be saved in the local PC.. As soon as I run the script file, the csv file shud get saved in the path specified.. Wats the procedure to specify the path?

And also the results are now stored in a single column.. But I want the results to get accomodated in respective columns..

For Ex..
A B C
1 2 3

The above result is stored in column A in the excel sheet.. But the requirement is, A shud get stored under the column A, B under column B and C under column C and so on...

Plz help!!
