Rename files with tag in a .xml file

Hi Guys!

1st of all, i am sorry for my bad english!

I got a Sat-Receiver and i recorded some Stuff for my Children, now the Harddrive is full and i want to convert and rename it, that i can put it on DVDs

But I've got a big Problem!
I want to rename the files , with a tag in a xml file witch is in directory below..

Example:
Code:
../video/MOVIES/info.xml

(inside the xml file is a tag called <ListText>Testmovie</ListText>)
Code:
../video/MOVIES/aufnahme/aufnahme00.trp.avi

( I want to rename this file to the inside of <ListText>)

First of all i converted the files with this
Code:
find /path "*.trp" -exec ffmpeg -i '{}' -vcodec copy -acodec  copy -f avi '{}.avi' \;

I really hope someone can help me, because iam a carpenter and Linux is a Hobby so i am not a Pro.

Thanx !

I try to understand your request. Are there several lines with tag <ListText>, or one xml file for one movie?

Code:
<ListText>aufnahme00.trp</ListText>
<ListText>aufnahme01.trp</ListText>
<ListText>aufnahme02.trp</ListText>

I guess, you need rename the .trp file to .trp.avi? confirm first.

Its one xml file for one movie. If the movie have a larger Size its split into parts like aufnahme00.trp aufnahme01 .trp ... So i think i must convert it first to avi files, then join it together and rename it.
Its a little bit too complicated for me.

I need to rename the aufnahme00.trp.avi to , maybe Micky_Mouse.avi (which stand in the .xml file)

thank you very much!!
