send mail through unix
Hi i am automating my task and i got an issue.
what i want to do is when certain condition is met the email should be sent to the user.

and the user should presume that the email has comes from
like support@xyz.com

The scenario is like send email as different user

how about using mail command in your script

echo "this is the body."| mailx -s "this is the subject" test@test.com

What Operating System and version are you using?
Are you using "mailx" or something else?

Is somehow contrary to our ethics, identity spoofing is something we will not encourage... so thread closed
