redirect output to a directory given as an argument

I have a ksh script thats creates a list of files as output but I want to place these generated files into a certain directory which is given as an argument, any of your kind help would be appreciated.

For eg.:
Code:
#./test.ksh <directory name>

Thanks

How about this

Code:
if [ $# -ne 1 ]
then
    echo "Usage: test.ksh <directory_name>"
    exit 1
fi

if [ ! -d "$1" ]
then
    echo "Directory: $1 not found"
    exit 2
fi

# Code to generate your FILE_LIST here

mv $FILE_LIST "$1"
