What do people think of the "Beginning Perl" book for learning Perl?

Seems like it's written out pretty well for a beginner to learn, any thoughts or recommendations for other books? I'd post the link but I can't do that yet.

The book is called "Beginning Perl" by Simon Cozens

Hi.

For the perl version that I use:
Code:
perl 5.10.1

a list of books is found in:
Code:
man perlfaq2

One edition of Beginning Perl has a publication date of 2010, but the reviews were not flattering at least partly because of a publisher's blurb on the cover promising 5.10 content that was not present: Amazon.com: Beginning Perl (9781430227939): James Lee: Books

Best wishes ... cheers, drl
