hello.. i m scripting in Perl and having issue writing the output in specific format..i read two files and run some commands and write output to one file. i want this to be a 2d table, File one has 48 rows and file two has 48 rows,

first i take one id from file one, and go to second file, loop through it and write the output. Here is something i want

i am confused.. i am a beginner here.. so what does array of arrays do? Here in first loop i will get output like this..

If i directly write to file, everytime it will write only one column, i wanted to append all these in to columns in one file ..

currently, with my code, it is adding the new records at the bottom..i want it to be added on side..
