Print file till specified line
Hi ,

I want to print file till line number 33 and stdout to different file.

I have used cat -n <file name> which numbers the lines including blank line.

now how can i stdout the first 33 lines in to new file.

sometime oracle control file will get generated with many duplicate entries.So my idea is to print the original line to a new file.Original entries ends with line ,which starts with word END.And then next line is #.So i want to print lines till END and which next line is #

So condition is to print till line ,which starts with END string.Then the next line should be #
