Switch user inside shell script

Hi,
I am trying to create one script where I have to login as another user inside the script to exeute some commands
How can i achieve this?

try like this in your script

Thanks for the help,the problem is whne I am trying to execute the script its asking for the root's password which I dont know how to pass from the script.

can you write your script in here?

You can alternately ask your admin to allow your user to switch to the other user (as root, using the sudo) so you won't be prompt for passwd :

sudo su -l anotheruser -c 'comm1;comm2;comm3;...'
