Ha ha..

Thanks to all..

I did it in Eclipse..!!!

Code:
Package Explorer --> Right click --> source --> Organize import

This will do all Needed imports automatically.

Thanks to all.

Try inserting...
Code:
sed -i '/import java./ i import linux.admin.file;' input_file.java

PS : all the above solutions are working for me though.

Done successfully..

All,

Sorry for late. I did it in one 'foolish' way., but it worked fine.

Code:
In for loop..
tempf=/tmp/tmpfile.txt
[ -f $tmpf ] && rm $tmpf -f
cat myfile.java | head -2 > $tmpf
echo "import linux.admin.file;" >> $tmpf
cat myfile.java | grep -v "`myfile.java | head -2`" >> $tmpf
cp -f $tmpf myfile.java
rm $tmpf

looks funny.. aha..Smilie

but there was no other way for me..

After successfully Smilie doing this , i was very happy. But came to know that this was too foolish.. Because there was an easy way in eclipse to import needed classes automatically Smilie
