Bug Script to delete old directories
Hi,

I have a requirement like,
I need to create the directory with date and time stap (i.e YYYYMMDDHMS) every day end need to delete the old directories which is 12 months old. I have tested with following script
Code:
cd /export/home/sbeeravo/; find . -type d -mtime +365 -exec rm -rf {} \;

/export/home/sbeeravo/ is my current director , Ineed to delete sub directories.

Could any one help regarding the same

what is the problem in your command ?

it will delete the sub directories also ( you are using -rf )

Hi ,

My requirement is , I have to delete the subdirectories whis is 12 months older.
Code:
cd /export/home/sbeeravo/; find . -type d -mtime +365 -exec rm -rf {} \;

This command is not deleting the sub directories directories.
