How to use awk in inserting single quote
Hi Guys,

Please someone help me to insert these numbers (enclosed with single quotes) to a statement using awk command. I'm having hard time of putting single quotes on these numbers.


input file:
Code:
10214
68441
07205
80731
92234
55432


DESIRED OUTPUT:
Code:
My ID Number='10214';
My ID Number='68441';
My ID Number='07205';
My ID Number='80731';
My ID Number='92234';
My ID Number='55432';

Edit: If you have a strict need for awk:

awk -v sq="'" '{print "My ID Number="sq$0sq";"}'
