Java Monday as first day
Hello, how can I show monday as first day of the week using cal command? I have read that it must be use -m parameter, but all I have is a display message like this:

cal: option requires and argument -- 'm'

Any help will be greatly appreciated

replace month and year appropriately.

The -m for Monday option works with the GNU version of cal which is used standard on Linux. Issues like this are why you need to tell us precisely what OS you are using.

So, what parameter should I use if I want to do this in Ubuntu?

For current year

cal -m 2011

To display a particular month in a year

$ cal 2 2011
