Where do you 'pull' from? A log file? Which one?

It's just a basic log file that contains url's and Ip's and dates/time

this is the command ive been trying to ue:

awk '{print $1,$2,$4,$5}' access_log.nov

With that awk command im able to pull the ip's w/ date&time dump it into a file.

How would i sort it by IP's when there are repeats of the same ip's but different dates &time?
