Hi Ningy,

How can we use grep to filter out time between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM? How could I specify that it has to search only anything which is greater than 10:00 and less than 11:30?

Please help.

Try this

Code:
last | awk '{split($7,arr,":");if(arr[1]>=10&&arr[1]<=11){if(arr[1]==11&&arr[2]>30){next}{print $1}}}'

regards,
Ahamed
