Need help with a Perl script
I am trying to write a Perl script and I am a true beginner. I have to compare 2 different text files that are lists of usernames and look like so.

Code:
user@domain
user@domain
user@domain

Both files are the same, but what i need to do is compare the first user file to the second user file and get a count of how many users are not in the first file. Both files are between 1000 and 1500 users. This might sound really easy to some, but like i said I am a beginner. Any help would really be appreciated.

this looks like it is working, but it is not giving me a difference. I know that there is s difference in the files, but it is not showing anything. Does it make a difference that the file are not in exact order?

The files need not to be in exact order.
If the data is not confidential, you may post the data from 2 files that you think should have difference while the script I provided didn't detect, and I will take a look at it.
