[sed] print until a ":" is found
Hello,

I have a string like this: "./file-name.in:some text" (without quotes)

And need to extract the filename to delete the line containing "some text". I'm using this command for the 1st part, but it doesnt work:

sed 's/\:[a-zA-Z]+$/\$/ p'

Any help guys?
