Shell Programming and Scripting

Hi,
I am trying to execute a java program with a perl wrapper over that. when i execute the perl script it is running fine as my .envrc settings are already loaded when the shell is started.
When i put this perl wrapper in cron, then it says the CLASSPATH env-variable is not defined.

Does the cron read our .envrc before it executes the program.
Please help me in this regard

cron usually runs in a limited environment - you will have to have your shell script (make one if there isn't one) will have to set the environment before it runs your perl script.
