Script to delete empty files

I'm trying to write a shell script to files of zero length in a specified directory, but I keep getting errors. Would anybody be kind enough to look it over for issues? Thanks a bunch in advance.
Code:
#!/bin/sh
if [ $# -eq 1 ]
then
if [ -d "$1" ]
then
        find $1 -type f -size 0 -print|xargs rm
        exit 0
else
echo "error: parameter not a directory"
        exit 1
fi
elif [$# -eq 0]
        find . -type f -size 0 -print|xargs rm
        exit 0
else
        echo "too many parameters"
        exit 1
fi

When posting code please use [code] and [/code] tags to preserve formatting.

You had a couple of syntax errors elif requires a then; spaces needed before and after [ and ] (Changes in red):

Code:
#!/bin/sh
if [ $# -eq 1 ]
then
    if [ -d "$1" ]
    then
        find $1 -type f -size 0 -print|xargs rm
        exit 0
    else
echo "error: parameter not a directory"
        exit 1
    fi
elif [ $# -eq 0 ]
then
    find . -type f -size 0 -print|xargs rm
    exit 0
else
    echo "too many parameters"
    exit 1
fi
