need help in using tput command

Plz help me in writing a shell script to print * in the form of 8 using tput command ...
pattern shud be in d below form...

Did you have to use all those individual font tags? cleaning that up is going to take forever, and arial doesn't do what you want anyway. Quote my post to see how to get a fixed-width font.

You don't need tput for that anyway:

Or if you do need to use tput for homework reasons, post in the homework forums. And you'll still have to tell us what you're supposed to be doing with it because I don't see the connection.

I need it for homework reason...I have to use tput command for this mandatorily.
